Giant Cell Tumor: Clinical Data

About 5% of all biopsied bone tumors
• Typically present in adults, 75% 20-40 years, uncommon in children (2%)
• Originate in metaphysis and grow to subarticular cortex
• More than half around the knee
• More than 90% patients present with pain, path fracture in about 10%
